Edith Lamne

Communications Assistant

“Lamne means ‘to test.’ It’s a name that taught me from a very early age that growing up is all about experimenting: trying things out, observing, learning, sometimes starting over, but always moving forward. Over time, I’ve come to realize that this idea of ‘testing’ also shapes the way I tell stories about the world. I love exploring new ideas, meeting people and turning what I discover into stories that can forge connections and give meaning.”

Edith works in journalism and digital communications, with a particular interest in human stories, major political and economic developments across the African continent, and initiatives driving social and environmental change. Through her experience, she has developed an approach rooted in listening, storytelling, and amplifying voices and journeys that too often remain overlooked.

She joined Terra Mucho in 2025 and, as Communications Assistant, is involved throughout the podcast production and distribution process, as well as in the creation of content for social media. She also supports the promotion of the organization’s programmes, events, and initiatives, helping to expand their reach. In this role, she contributes to highlighting and amplifying the voices of women driving environmental change.

Driven by a commitment to meaningful storytelling, Edith strives to build thoughtful, accessible, and coherent communications that bring people together, tell stories with authenticity, and give greater visibility to the voices and initiatives shaping the future of the African continent.
