Nominate

Do you know a woman leading environmental change?

Across francophone Africa, women are already shaping the future of ecosystems and communities. We work to find and support them—through our networks, research, and through people who witness their impact firsthand. You might be one of those people.

If you know a woman who is taking action for the environment, creating change in her community, and earning the trust of those around her, please bring her forward.

Alongside this ongoing work, we mark International African Women’s Day (July 31) each year through our JIFA nomination process, a dedicated moment to recognize and elevate women environmental leaders across francophone Africa whose work deserves greater visibility and support.

Selected profiles are featured in a future season of the Terra Mucho Podcast and/or connected to our other pathways, strengthening recognition and amplifying their voices and impact across the region.

Collaborate

We are building a generation of women environmental leaders across francophone Africa equipping them to shape decisions, influence systems, and drive climate action within their communities and beyond. By supporting women at critical stages of their leadership journeys, we contribute to systemic change for more resilient ecosystems and inclusive climate governance.

We work with partners who share this vision and want to make it count.

We welcome both project-based and core funding from foundations and funders committed to long-term impact and systemic change. Your investment directly strengthens the capacity, visibility, and influence of women environmental leaders across francophone Africa, contributing to more just and sustainable environmental governance.

We connect media partners to women environmental leaders from our network for interviews and field reportages, as well as opportunities to explore why amplifying women’s voices in the environmental space matters. The Terra Mucho Podcast is also available for distribution through your channels, bringing compelling stories from the frontlines of environmental action in francophone Africa directly to your audience. If you are looking for content that is both meaningful and underrepresented, we can open those doors.

Work With Us

We look for individuals who bring thoughtfulness, initiative, and a willingness to work across cultures and contexts. Whether through core roles or short-term collaborations, including as coaches, facilitators, speakers, or trainers. If you have expertise in areas such as well-being, storytelling, communication, networking, or fundraising, and feel called to contribute to this growing movement aiming at supporting women environmental leaders, we would love to hear from you.
